Fishing in Massachusetts and the variety of fish that you can catch on our trips!
Depending on what we're trying to catch, there are a ton of other types of fish
that we may hook as well. It's great when my customers say, "I saw a photo of this fish on your site and
it's "x". It's great. While deep-sea fishing, we catch dozens of different types of fish. If you
add the possibilities of what you can catch on our inshore and tuna/shark trips, we can realistically catch
three dozen different species of fish.
But still, it's great when I see the fish bite your line and I say "that's a haddock by the way it bit".
Every fish fights just a little differently and we try to help you make the differention for yourself.
I'll be updating these pages soon and adding more commentary and photos.
I have added quite a bit already--much of it has been in my mind for the past 37 years. I really love these things.
I hope that you enjoy browsing these pages and we'll keep you coming back!
Click on any of the names of fishes to the left for a brief (but I'll be adding more) description and
photos. In addition to these fish, on the Black Rose we have seen whales and so much other great sea life and this
is something that we live for. I've seen pods of porpoises and dolphins that had over 500 individuals.
With this list, anyways, if you catch it on the Black Rose, chances are it's on this list.
