Where to Meet Us

My main harbors are Green Harbor (Marshfield Town Pier) and Buzzards Bay. Green Harbor has a departure point that is very, very close to the open ocean, which means a quick ride before we can “open her up” and head out to the fishing grounds. We fish from Green Harbor for cod/haddock, tuna, some shark trips, and some striper/blue trips. Buzzards Bay is a great marina because have easy access to sea bass, fluke, scup(porgy), and great spring/fall striper/bluefishing on light tackle. Additionally, we can even run our shark trips from Buzzards Bay. We also run shark trips from Falmouth (behind the Flying Bridge Restaurant) and we run striper/blue trips from the Sandwich Marina at the East End of the Canal.

Green Harbor Directions

From Points North of Green Harbor. (such as Boston, NH, Maine)

Get onto Route 3 south towards Cape Cod (Route 3 starts in Braintree). Follow for about 20 minutes south of Braintree to Exit 11 (see "From Route 3")

From Points West of Boston (such as western Mass, New York, even CT, PA, and NJ)

Take Mass Pike East to Exit 14. Take route 128/95 south to Braintree, where you pick up Route 3. Caution: The names of the roads get tricky: That is to say, you'll go south on 128/95 and after Exit 13, Route 128 ends, route 95 splits to the right (and looks like an exit), and exit 12 "is the main highway". You continue straight--don't follow route 95!!!! Route 3 is only 10 minutes from there

From Points south of Green Harbor (and down to SE Conn...)

Take Route 3 North to Exit 11. if you're south of Green Harbor. If you're to the west at all, just email me for directions--it really depends on where you live. There are many routes that you can take. Basically, you'll be doing this...

From West of Green Harbor(Providence, Conn., etc)

Take Route 195 east until the end. Stay in left lane and continue onto Route 495 north for one exit. Get off at Exit 2 (Route 58). Go right off of exit. Continue on this road for about 12 miles. (Ignore the fact that Route 58 takes a left after about 2 miles---keep going straight). After about 12 miles, you will go over an overpass(Route 3) and see a blinking light--go left. Follow alongside route 3 North to a set of lights--you want to go left, then immediately go right to get onto route 3 north. Route 3 north to (directions just below)

From Route 3 (9 minutes from the highway.)

This is an easy location to find. Take Route 3 and get off at Exit 11. This is Route 14, which you will follow EAST. After about 1 minute, you will see a sign to BEAR LEFT onto ROUTE 139. Follow 139 for about 8 minutes. You will pass the Green Harbor Yacht Club on the right side, then pass a marsh/creek on the right as well. Take the next RIGHT (Joseph Driebeek Way). It is just after a parking lot. Follow this small road to the end, where you will see a large parking lot and boat ramp.

I will have my boat behind the harbormaster’s shack and flag pole. I will be waiting at the floats at the base of the ramp. Parking will be allowed, according to the Harbormaster, in the spots by the fenced in area to the left of the Harbormaster’s office building.

Directions to Plymouth Harbor

In the past, I have done a lot of fishing out of Plymouth Harbor located at the town wharf. There is ample parking in the lot IN FRONT OF the East Bay Grille. Just be sure to pre-pay for your vehicle at one of the kiosks. The Black Rose will be waiting behind the East Bay Grille.

From north of Plymouth: (Boston, etc.)

Take Route 3 south to Exit 6a. Follow for about ½ mile towards the ocean. Go through first set of lights and continue to rotary. Go around the rotary so the ocean is to your right. The East Bay Grille is 200 yards away on your right. Park in the lot in front of the restaurant. We'll be behind the restaurant. (You can drive to the ramp to drop off anyone/anything. .

From South of Plymouth: (Cape Cod, etc.)

Take Route 3 north to Exit 6 and follow Route 44 east (go right at end of ramp).

From East of Plymouth (Providence, Conn., etc)

Take Route 195 east until the end. Stay in left lane and continue onto Route 495 north for one exit. Get off at Exit 2 (Route 58). Go right off of exit. Continue on this road for about 12 miles. (Ignore the fact that Route 58 takes a left after about 2 miles---keep going straight). After about 12 miles, this road will come to an end (John Carver Inn will be on the left). Bear right, then bear a quick left so that you keep the Friendly’s Restaurant on your right. There is a stop sign there. Go right and take and immediate left onto Water Street. This road will wind along the waterfront, passing Plymouth Rock and you’ll see the Mayflower Ship on your right. This will lead you to the rotary, where you go right. Continue with about directions from Rotary.

Where we leave from will be determined based on the species of fish we are after and/or any special requests from our customers. From Green Harbor and Plymouth, we have an easy ride to the cod fishing grounds on Stellwagon Bank as well as to the shores of Provincetown. There the striper/bluefish trolling is fantastic. There is also a very good fluke fishery off of those shores as well.
